SESA President Letter

Letter from the SESA President and Lady Wanda

Greetings, everyone! As promised in the President’s Welcome Letter, Lady Wanda and I

have exciting new information to share with you.

Many of us attended the Midyear Meeting in Savannah, Georgia where we had a marvelous

gathering in which we enjoyed the feeling of the spirit of camaraderie combined with its

good food. We really had an exhilarating time together. Thank you, everyone!

Now we are embarking on a new journey, the “Rocket City”, Huntsville, Alabama where the

2026 Annual Convention is taking place from August 5 – 9. This is a unique location, full of

entertainment and the hotel reservations are going fast. We recommend you start making

reservations now.

You will find the Registration Form, the Schedule of Events, the Ticketed Items for purchase and the Westin Hotel link to reserve your rooms on this webpage. Other information is also

included.

Take a special look at the First Lady’s Coastal Theme Luncheon “Through Calm Sea Waters”.

It is a seated elegantly plated luncheon held at the Huntsville Botanical Garden, an

enchanting world of nature. It includes a tour of the garden (walk or trolley). Important:

capacity is only for 60 attendees and is filling fast.

Now let’s talk about the “Tropical Night”. This is the first time we will have this kind of

activity. Lady Wanda and I would like to share the wonders of our Island with you.

Attendees are encouraged to wear something tropical (no swimwear). Let me tell you,

without ruining the excitement of the occasion, that there are going to be a lot of surprises.

We will have samples of Puerto Rican traditional food, salsa dance lessons and

competitions, raffles, cash bar and more. You need to act fast and register for this unique

event.

We suggest you take a thorough look at the rest of the Schedule of Events. We promise youa Convention full of excitement and are looking forward to seeing you there.

Yours in the Faith,

Rafael “Rafi” Rodrí guez and Lady Wanda
